Jaime "The Maestro" Emeric, enjoyed being a legal-eagle for 20+ years with top-tier Law Firms of National & International Practices. He also assisted in American Media & Publishing Inc.'s dot.com venture "Law.Com".

He's highly respected as a Media Guru and throughout his spare time followed his passion for Music, Writing and Poetry, as both a Public Speaker & Motivational Speaker. In addition, he is a staunch Community Activist & Volunteer, most notably with "52 People For Progress, Inc.", NYC's most successful all-volunteer organization, with over 30 years serving the community with music, arts and clean safe parks in The Bronx. He also lends his services to the "P'al Pueblo Toy Drive" in Brooklyn, a program launched by "Sofrito For Your Soul, Inc." & "Capicu Poetry & Cultural Showcase" providing toys, smiles & joys to the underprivileged & underserved children in "Bushwick United, Inc.".
He is a proud Cast Member of The Latino Poets Society Production "From The Bodega To Broadway" at The Cherry Lane Theatre. The cast included many luminaries in The Nuyorican Poetry Movement, most notably Obie Winner- Frank Perez, El Barrio's Poet Laureate- Jesus Papoleto Melendez, Internationally acclaimed artist Caridad De La Luz a/k/a "La Bruja", the Latino Icon-Tato Laviera among others. Was the Producer for "WORDS- From The Barrio", a highly-acclaimed Poetry & Spoken Word & Open Mic Series. A Member of Teachers and Writers Collaborative, Academy of American Poets, devout supporter of "Acentos Foundation" and the "Capicu Poetry & Cultural Showcase", where he serves as a Mentor. These organizations dedicate themselves to the preservation of Latino literary works, the poetic craft and provide outlets & developmental services to the young and the novice artist. I have performed at many cultural venues inclusive The Nuyorican, Langston Hughes House & Library, Boricua College's Winter Poetry Series, Capicu, Babble In The Bronx. My written works have appeared in La Voz Hispana Newspaper, as a contributing Journalist, Latin Beat Magazine's "Word Beat" Column and VirtualBoricua.org, SofritoforYourSoul.com, WordsForLife.com and various digital & print resources.

Father of 4 children, diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer which predicted 6 months to 1 year lifespan, nearly 5 years later he is surviving the ravages of the disease. Despite continuous chemotherapy, Jaime is thriving as a neophyte Photographer, serve as a Lector at my Parish and volunteer with grassroots orgs seeking to create positive change.
